Please note that all walkers must have a face mask, disposable gloves, and a small first aid kit including hand sanitiser for self-treatment of minor injuries. At the start of your first walk, you will be given an In Case of Emergency card (ICE) and this should be completed with your own pen, and must be placed on top of your rucksack for each walk. It is important that any medical information which could affect your treatment, care or that of safety of the group is included, and you may wish to have a word with the leader if you have a concern.

Should you be showing any of the symptoms of Covid, or symptoms that may make others uneasy, it is IMPERATIVE that you do NOT walk, and that you get tested asap. Please text 07508 652 022 to inform us that you are unable to walk. Please also download the NHS Test and Protect Scotland App.

By booking the above walks, I agree and understand that outdoor activities organised by the Ballater Walking Festival as part of Ballater Royal Deeside Ltd (BRD) carry an element of risk and I am willing to comply with all safety regulations and instructions given. I understand that the walks may not be able to take place if Covid restrictions change and that Ballater Walking Festival will not be held responsible in any way for the cancellation of walks. Ballater Walking Festival will be following the guidelines and the Scottish Government and Sports Scotland.
